On the first day of their tour, the Libyan Digital Lab team and the Expertise France team, the body responsible for developing and overseeing the French digital strategy, the Interministerial Digital Directorate (DINUM), met in Paris to discuss their mission and digitalization roadmap and share tips and best practices.

The French Interministerial Digital Directorate is responsible for engaging in a major digital transformation of public institutions in France by significantly enhancing digital skills and ensuring the digital sovereignty of the French state through investment in digital productivity tools for public sector employees.

The Libyan team received a detailed and comprehensive presentation and learned about the history of its establishment, development, organization, mandate and relationship with ministries in France, where they were invited to present the role of the General Information Authority in digitization and the Libyan strategy for digital transformation.

This tour aims to identify best practices on digitization from the French government and to provide the Libyan Digital Lab with an overview of the various digital tools used to implement the French national digital strategy.

It is worth noting that this visit of the Libyan Digital Lab team is part of the activities of the E-NABLE project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France to support the digitization and diversification of the Libyan economy.
