The Minister of Economy and Trade issued a resolution (No. 200 of 2023) on Monday banning the import of medicines and medical products in all their forms and types after the expiration of one-third of their validity period.
The validity is calculated from the date of production and in a manner that guarantees in all cases that two-thirds of the product’s validity remains, provided it has maintained its safety and quality.
The decision stipulates that the Municipal Guard, the Customs Authority, and all relevant law enforcement agencies should take all legal measures against violators of the provisions of this decision.
