Libya’s Minister of Planning suggested to Libyan Railways that it prioritises the implementation of the Khoms and Misrata Ports rail links.

The suggestion was made on Tuesday during the meeting between Libyan Railways and the Planning Minister Mohamed Al-Zaidani at his Tripoli office. The meeting was part of Libyan Railways’ efforts to communicate its vision with the government and discuss its transformation budget for 2023.

Libyan Railways reported that the Minister reviewed its vision regarding the stages of implementation and praised the importance of the railway project from the economic and social aspects, and suggested it submit a proposal to reschedule the implementation stages of the project.
