In an exclusive interview with Libya Herald, the Media Spokesperson for the exhibition, Mahdi Boulwefa, said that the reservation rate for the participants amounted to 75% of the exhibition area, which exceeds 5,000 square meters.

He said several Libyan economic actors and private and public industrial institutions, including 60 local companies in various industrial activities are also participating.

The most prominent activities represented, he revealed, were packaging, paint and its machinery, the iron and steel industry and several manufacturing industries.

Libya: Export gateway to Africa
Boulwefa added that last year’s first edition represented a 70 percent success rate, hoping that this year’s event would achieve its target, which is that Libya would become the export gateway to Africa.
