Marine Resources Minister Sultan discusses fish exports to EU with German ambassador

Libya’s Minister of Marine Resources, Adel Sultan, discussed with German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, the possibility of Libyan obtaining the European number for local marine products. This would facilitate the export of Libyan fish into the EU.

The discussions came during the Ambassador’s visit to the Ministry’s Tripoli office on Tuesday.

The meeting aimed to discuss and strengthen relations and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of marine wealth, technical support, and the training and qualification of national elements in the activity of aquaculture and marine fishing,

During the meeting, it was agreed that there would be future cooperation, and the importance of coordination to participate in the fourth German-Libyan Economic Forum to be held in Tripoli in the coming months, and the importance of the participation of the marine wealth sector in it, were also noted.
