The General Secretariat of the Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Mediterranean (ASCAME) is to hold its next meeting in Tripoli in May 2023, the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture reported today.

This decision was taken during the meeting between the Chairman and members of the Management Committee of Tripoli Chamber with the President and members of the General Secretariat of ASCAME on the side-lines of the International Conference of the Mediterranean “MEDA WEEK” held in November in Barcelona, Spain.

Tripoli Chamber reported that during the MEDA meetings the role of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry in supporting the member chambers of commerce were discussed.

Ways to enhance the role of Tripoli Chamber of Commerce at the regional and international levels and provide the necessary support to organize the next ASCAME session in May 2023 in Tripoli were also discussed.
