Zliten municipality takes delivery of 30 new minibuses- a further example of PPP with local government

The Zliten Transport Company announced Monday that it will charge just one dinar for all destinations within the city centre. The move is aimed at enshrining in the general public the habit of using the new buses.

It will be recalled that the minibuses started operating in April with initially 5 buses. They operated for free for one month. The company offers a 24/7 seven days a week telephone customer service centre.

The minibuses were imported in a PPP between a group of businesses and the local municipality and arrived in February this year.
