Zawia Oil Refinery Company announced on Monday that partial emergency maintenance of berth No. 1 at Zawia Oil Port had been completed. The berth enables the loading and unloading of white products.

The company said the maintenance work ensured the continuity of work at the port in accordance with best operating conditions.

It reported that the maintenance teams discovered and dismantled the buoy and the track group from the berth base and dragged it by a locomotive to the port to perform the necessary maintenance on it and returned it to the berth base again. One of the submersible hoses in the float tank system was also changed as a result of its damage.

The company confirmed that the operations of loading and unloading of petroleum products and crude oil are taking place normally at other berths.
