Mellitah Oil and Gas starts pumping 40,000 bpd oil from El-Feel to processing complex

Mellitah Oil & Gas looking to charter three helos

Mellitah Oil and Gas announced today that it has started pumping 40,000 bpd of oil from El-Feel to its Mellitah coastal processing complex.

In its statement, Mellitah said that after receiving permission from the National Oil Corporation regarding the resumption of operations and production in the El Feel field today, the operation of the electricity generating unit in El Feel field, as well as the utilities unit began.

It stated that the restarting of wells will start gradually until all wells are operational. It declared that pumping operations into Mellitah Industrial Complex have actually started at a rate of about bout 40,000 barrels per day until all wells are operating, and then it expects a return to the normal production and export rates.
