Misrata’s Maritime Terminal announced Wednesday that due to customer demand it is changing the Turkish destination of its Kevalay Queen passenger ferry line.
The line will now run to Istanbul rather than as had been originally to Izmir. The change will take effect as of 10 March this year.
It will be recalled that the Misrata Maritime Terminal had received its first passenger ferry Kevalay Queen on 16 November last year.
The ship is further expected to run trips linking Libya with Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt carrying passengers, cars, and goods.
Trips to other Libyan ports await the development of other passenger terminals in other port cities.
