Libya creates new Wadi Harir Special Economic Zone in western region

London, 29 December 2021:

The Libyan government published decree (7/2021 ) dated 22 December 2021 regarding the establishment of a free investment zone of a special nature called (the Special Economic Zone, Wadi Al-Harir, Libya) with legal personality and independent financial disclosure under the provisions of law No. 14/2010.

The text of the decision stated the boundaries of the established area as follows:

To its east: Bin Shuaib area
