Hay Al-Andalous Municipality announced yesterday that it is launching a project to distribute 200 mobile street food vending carts to unemployed youth. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Local Government.
The Municipality said it has prepared a plan to grant the street vendors with licenses and with controls on uniforms and hygiene for the carts and for their temporary surroundings.
It added that it will implement a fair distribution process for the carts and that the initiative will be supported by several parties and businesses.
