The head of the Zliten Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Khaled Bileed and his accompanying delegation from the city, discussed with the Ambassador of South Africa for Libya (and Tunisia) improving bilateral economic cooperation.
The discussions took place yesterday on the side-lines of the Djerba International Business Forum 2021 held between 27-28 May in Djerba, Tunisia.
Reporting on the discussions, the Libyan Business Council, Benghazi branch, said the two sides discussed many issues related to procedures for and the facilitation of entry into South Africa.
They also discussed facilitating procedures for searching for business opportunities and the import into Libya of goods that South Africa has abundant supply of, especially in the agricultural sector, vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc.
The opening of trade exchange by sending commercial delegations between the two countries, finding out what the merchants and manufacturers need and to overcoming the difficulties they face – were also raised.
