During its session yesterday called mainly to discuss the 2021 budget, the House of Representatives announced that it be holding a session in Tripoli soon.
Statement on Chad
The HoR also voted to issue a statement about what its Official Spokesperson Abdalla Belheeg ‘‘the unfortunate events that the neighbouring country Chad is going through’’. He said the HoR ‘‘stressed that the security services follow up on the security situation in the southern regions, especially in the Libyan-Chadian borders’’.
Law on witchcraft and sorcery referred to committee
Members also voted to refer the draft law on witchcraft and sorcery to the legislative committee of the House for consideration.
Investigate Minister of Local Government
He also reported that the session voted to form a committee to investigate the Minister Local Government in the current Government of National Unity.
