London, 27 January 2021:
The Tripoli Labour Ministry discussed possible cooperation with the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in job creation, SME, spatial development and model business centres around oilfields and installations.
The discussion took place during a meeting headed by Labour Minister Mahdi Al-Amin on Sunday (24 January) at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters.
During the meeting, the Ministry’s plan regarding small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and how a partnership could be established between the Ministry of Labour and the NOC. A visual report on spatial development, especially the areas surrounding the oil fields and installations, was reviewed.
A project to establish model business centres in the Ubari and Jalo regions was approved, for which a group of young people in the two regions would be selected to receive training and finance for their projects.
