Zawia Oil Refinery announced on Monday that its asphalt plant had resumed production. The restart comes as part of the restart of operations for the whole refinery after the resumption of Libya’s oil production meant the refinery is now receiving oil supplies.
The refinery reports that asphalt is now available in its storage tanks and ready to meet local demand for road construction.
