London, 24 November 2020:
The Tripoli-based Libyan Ministry of Labour yesterday invited young digital enthusiasts to join the ‘‘Digital Champions’’ project organized by the “WeCode’’ Foundation, throughout the Arab world.
The Ministry said the programme will be implemented in partnership with the Financial Facilities Fund. The Foundation seeks through this project to open the way for youth to learn everything related to digital skills. The Ministry says it represents an opportunity for youth to form their digital skills.
It will be recalled that the Foundation announced the launch of the “Capacity Building with Google” programme on the 25th of this month, to address the growing skills gap in the workforce in the region, and to make universal use of the opportunities provided by technology.
“WeCode Land” is a social program whose mission is to contribute to economic inclusion through digital culture, and seeks to provide young people with the necessary skills to increase their chances of obtaining digital jobs.
