London, 10 November 2019:

Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company, AGOCO, a wholly owned subsidiary of the state National Oil Corporation (NOC), announced increased production at its Nafoura Y-01 well, the NOC reported on Friday.

The NOC said that this was part of its strategic plan to increase Libya’s oil production capacity financed by the ‘‘Exceptional Budget’’ (Decree 1080/2019) granted by the Tripoli government to the NOC specifically to increase oil production.

The NOC reported that the well increased production from 200 barrels per day to 3,801 per day.
