The body of the manager of a Jumhuriya bank near Sabha was discovered according to Sebha Municipality, the Libyan state news agency LANA reported.
It said that Saleh Hamedan had been kidnapped for just a few days. His body was discovered on Monday near a crossroad south of the city.
The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of LD 500,000 in cash in return for his release. However, his family were unable to gather the demanded amount in time which they blamed on the cash crisis in the country.
