London, 14 April 2016:
The Tripoli-based Administrative Control Authority (ACA) has revealed that it has discovered 94,294 cases of state . . .[restrict]sector salary duplication in 2015. The ACA is the state monitoring institution of state sector employees and administration.
It reported in a statement released yesterday that as part of its legal obligations to only sanction the payment of state sector salaries through the use of the National ID Number and the work attendance reports, it has discovered 94,294 job duplications.
The ACA said that the elimination of these duplications has created 22,258 job opportunities up to 31st December 2015.
It further criticized many public sector institutions for not prioritizing the saving of public funds by issuing new work contracts to new applicants without prioritizing existing excess labour employees on the state payroll. [/restrict]
