Benghazi, 16 November 2015:
Large crowds turned out in Beida today for the funeral of Colonel Mohamed Bughafir. He . . .[restrict]was killed leading mujahideen forces in an operation against Islamic State (IS) fighters yesterday.
The numbers bore testimony to the town’s loyalty to one of their own – Bughafir was from Beida – despite the the government being based in the town and being firmly supportive of it and the House of Representatives.
Bughafir had headed Beida’s Ali Hassan Al-Jabber Brigade but went to Derna this year and joined its mujahideen against IS. [/restrict]
