Tripoli, 3 November 2015:
Without naming it, the GNC has deplored the attack last night on the Prime Ministry by the Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Brigade, controlled by Haithem Tajouri, who had earlier kidnapped the Ghwell administration’s planning minister Ahmed Al-Ghadar.
The GNC’s Defence and Security committee said it strongly condemned the actions of a group which it said was affiliated to the Interior Ministry and was supposed to be safeguarding Tripoli.
It said in a statement: “The Committee calls on all revolutionary forces and security bodies to bear their responsibilities in protecting the capital”.
