Benghazi, 10 July 2015:

Young volunteer members of the Benghazi Libya Red Crescent have been distributing aid to refugees sheltering in . . .[restrict]the city.

In the early hours of yesterday they delivered Ramadan food and drink to some 362 internally-displaced families in 16 different shelters. The relief was funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs in cooperation with local wholesalers.

Most of the families are still being housed in local schools, where conditions are not ideal. There is also continuing concern that with their schools occupied by these refugee families, children’s education continues to be disrupted.
