Malta, 12 March 2015:

The 43rd edition of the Tripoli International Fair (TIF) will take place between 2-14 April, . . .[restrict]the Ministry of Tourism has confirmed.

The Ministry said that it’s stand at the show (No.19) will be 271 sqm this year and will focus on the aesthetic and cultural values of Libya’s tourist attractions through visual imagery, posters and other marketing merchandise.

It also announced yesterday that space will be made available for organizations involved with cultural heritage, travel agencies and other institutes in the sector.

There will also be a traditional Libyan food competition, an amateur photography competition of tourism topics as well as the crowd favourite  traditional folklore song and dance shows.

It is still unclear what level of international participation there will be at this year’s fair, however, as was the case with last years’ show, the fair will no doubt include the usual mix of market stalls and high-end stands offering a range of products and services from clothing, domestic and electrical goods to construction industrial and manufacturing products and accessories.
