2 December 2014:
Reports that Omar Al-Hassi plans to reshuffle his cabinet are again circulating in Tripoli. They first . . .[restrict]surfaced last month.
“It will happen,” a usually reliable top official in Tripoli told the Libya Herald today. He said that the planned reshuffle had been confirmed to him today by one of Hassi’s ministers. “The foreign minister [Mohamed Agheirani] will be the first to go,” he claimed, adding that the overall number of ministers would be reduced with some portfolios combined, such as finance and planning.
Agheirani was filmed, allegedly last week, in a fracas in the Libyan embassy in Amman. He was previously Libyan Ambassador to Jordan
The Hassi cabinet is the largest Libya has had since the revolution, despite its relative powerlessness. [/restrict]
