The Central Bank of Libya has blocked a LD 4 billion salary payment on the suspicion . . .[restrict]that it is fraudulent,
The bank used its Facebook page to report that it believed that the sum, indented for state salaries, was to be distributed illegally. It gave no details of the payments that had been stopped.
However, it said that it was determined, “despite the difficulties” to pursue its duty to block these illegal payments for the sake of the country.
