Benghazi, 11 May 2014:
The Jumhuriya Hospital in Benghazi has announced that yesterday it had received 50 patients with illnesses . . .[restrict]related to poisoning – five children and 45 adults.
Spokesperson for the hospital Fethiya Faitouri told the Libya Herald that the patients had been admitted to the department for communicable diseases and were receiving treatment.
The exact cause of the symptoms was unknown, she said. There had been no fatalities amongst those suffering from the poisoning. [/restrict]
