An officer in the Misratan-led Third Force which has been in charge of security . . .[restrict]in Sebha for the past two months has died in hospital in Misrata after being shot by accident on Tuesday morning.
“The victim was shot by one his colleagues in the Southern Operation Room in Sebha by accident,” the Third Force spokesperson in Sebha, Ala Al-Huwaik, told the Libya Herald.
The Third Force moved into Sebha after communal clashes erupted in the town in January which then mutated into a conflict with pro-Qaddafi forces which Monday’s televised video by Saadi Qaddafi indicate he organised. [/restrict]
