Libyan-owned telecommunications and information . . .[restrict]technology company LAP GreenN has announced increased subscriber growth across all of its operating countries for the first quarter of 2014.
The Libyan African Investment Portfolio (LAP) subsidiary said that for the financial year ending December 2013 it also saw increased revenues of 25 percent in two of its operating companies and notable earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation improvements in two others.
LAP GreenN said the progress had come despite challenging circumstances in its work in South Sudan where safety of staff had been a key issue. LAP GreenN also operates in, Uganda, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone.
The company announced that its external indebtedness had reduced to 40 percent.
LAP GreenN was incorporated to support LAP’s strategic undertaking to invest in the telecommunications sector in 2007. [/restrict]
