Tripoli, 22 February 2014:
A private hotel in Tripoli’s in downtown Belkhair district was set ablaze . . .[restrict]last night during armed clashes in the area, according to the civil defence force. Combatants were reported to have opened fire at a fire engine when it sought to quell the flames at the Al-Khair hotel.
The clashes between two groups of young people in the district are said to have begun over a grudge dating back to last year. They lasted until the early hours of the morning. No casualties have been reported as a result. [/restrict]
