Benghazi, 31 January 2014:
One man was killed and two more injured last night in fighting between Benghazi’s Special Forces and the . . .[restrict]17 February Brigade, following the kidnap of Special Forces Commander Wanis Bukhamada’s son.
The dead man has been named as Ramadan Al-Hassi. He was killed outside the headquarters of the 17 February Brigade, near Benghazi University, and his body transferred to Benghazi Medical Centre. These casualties were all from the Special Forces.
Fighting erupted last night in several areas of the city after Ali Wanis Bukhamada was snatched by armed men outside Benghazi University yesterday afternoon. [/restrict]
