Libyan Airlines to return its headquarters to Benghazi

Tripoli, 16 January 2014:

The headquarters of state-owned airline Libyan Airlines is to return to Benghazi, the airlines’  board of . . .[restrict]directors decided yesterday.

The widely-anticipated decision that the airline should  go hoe to where it was founded 50 years ago, was announced following a special meeting at Benghazi’s Tibesti Hotel during te company’s golden jubilee celebrations.

At the party were airline chairman, Captain Khaled Al-Tena, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Annim Saleh and members of Benghazi Local Council. Representatives from the city’s civil society organisations and Libyan Airlines employees were also there to mark the occasion. [/restrict]
