It has emerged that yesterday’s meeting of the GNC’s Crisis Committee was attended by former National . . .[restrict]Transitional Council president, Mustafa Abdul Jalil and former NTC member Salem Massoud Kenan, who worked closely with Jalil during his period of office.
The Crisis Committee, under its chairman Abdul-Wahab Qa’ed, is continuing to look at ways to resolve the shut down of oil terminals in the east of the country. The two NTC figures reportedly joined the meeting which was held in the prime minister’s building. It is unclear what contribution they were able to make to the discussions.
