Tripoli, 16 July 2013:
At yesterday’s press conference, Prime Minister Ali Zeidan said that the money for Libyan university students . . .[restrict]in the US had been transferred.
Zeidan was surprised by the instant complaints from US-based Libyan students in view of the fact that the money was, in his view, barely late.
Not with standing this, he explained that he had personally talked to the Central Bank of Libya, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Higher Education, and that he was assured that the money had been transferred and that it should be with students soon.
Zeidan stressed that the US-based students had received all their money until the end of June.
