Tripoli 18 July 2013:

The Mahari Radisson Blu hotel will be throwing open its theatre doors tonight to show the American crime comedy Identity Thief.

Film enthusiasts were encouraged to vote for which recently-released box office hit they want to see. From an original choice of six films, the shortlist was yesterday down to two: the horror flick Paranormal Activity 4, or comedy Identity Theft. Based on Facebook ‘likes’, the comedy won.

Starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, Identity Theft charts Colorado businessman Sandy Patterson’s journey to track down a woman who has stolen his identity.

Organised by Harmony Entertainment Group (HEG), the evening’s entertainment starts after Taraweeh prayers. The cost is LD 10 per person and traditional cinema food and drink will be available.

The theatre entrance is on a side street on the left hand side of the building if you are facing the hotel. Doors open at 10.30 pm and close at 11.15 pm. The film showing will start at 11:30 pm.

There are only 400 seats, so get there early!
