Tripoli, 20 March 2013:
Zawia . . .[restrict]Appeal Court , today, Wednesday, sentenced the well known Libyan actor and TV personality Yousif Gheryani, to five years imprisonment for having opposed the 17 February revolution and causing harm to undisclosed citizens.
Known as “Qizqiza”, Gheryani was arrested a year ago and accused of misleading the public at the beginning of the revolution about events. He appeared on a TV channel known as “Al Jamahariya” and broadcast a programme direct from Zawia. [/restrict]
