The official spokesperson for the Attorney General denied that Saif Al-Islam Qaddafi made a brief court . . .[restrict]appearance yesterday in Zintan.
Speaking to Libya TV, Taha Bara challanged the authenticity of a photograph and short video clip doing the rounds on the social networking sites yesterday purporting to show that Saif had appeared in a criminal court in Zintan. He said that Qaddafi’s son had not appear in court there or anywhere else in Libya.
Bara said that the images were in fact from Saif’s first court appearance in January.
He gave no indication as to when Saif would be brought to trial. [/restrict]
