Libyan Spider joins forces with Dutch company to fight spam

Tripoli, 22 January 2013:

SpamExperts, a Dutch online security . . .[restrict]firm, has announced a new hosting partnership with Libyan Spider to help curb the flow of unwanted spam for its customers.

Tripoli-based Libyan Spider, which specialises in a variety of internet solutions including domain registration and web hosting, has now adopted SpamExperts’ email spam and virus filtering software.

The software catches spam emails and viruses before they actually reach the customers’ network. This solves the growing problem of viruses being transmitted onto clients’ computers through unsolicited spam emails. It also automatically curbs the quantity of junk messages.

“SpamExperts Local Cloud has significantly reduced spam reaching our servers and customers’ mailboxes,” said Mohamed Ayad, Director of Data Hosting and Domains Registration at Libyan Spider. He added: “These are great results which enhance the experience for our end-users.”

SpamExperts said they were delighted to start the new year with another successful partnership. “Libyan Spider is a valuable customer and we are pleased that our services have reached this part of the world,” said Sam Renkema, CEO of SpamExperts. “By securing their networks from spam and virus attacks, Libyan Spider can rest assured that their end-user site owners are protected.”

Libyan Spider, which was founded in 2002 and now has over 15,000 customers, has been nominated as the fastest-growing internet business in Libya for three consecutive years. [/restrict]
