Tripoli, 13 September 2012
The Libyan Businessmen Council (LBC) extends its deepest condolences to the family of Ambassador Chris Stevens and to . . .[restrict]the other officials who lost their lives in Benghazi two days ago as a result of the violence that occurred at the US Consulate there.
The LBC and its members have known Ambassador Stevens and worked with him when he was an official at the US Embassy in Tripoli few years ago.
He has been an able and talented diplomat dedicated to strengthen economic relation between his country and Libya.
The LBC would like to honour the memory of Ambassador Stevens by continuing to work with its partners for achieving a better and peaceful world.
May his soul rest in peace.
