Clashes between two rival groups of young men in Zawia today are reported to have resulted in several deaths . . .[restrict]and injuries. It is said that as many as seven may have been killed and over 13 injured.

The fighting started at dawn today, Sunday.

It followed an attempt by members of one of the groups to steal a car.  The owner called up friends who arrived on the scene with guns. In the initial fighting, one person was said to have been killed and another injured.  Friends and family of the dead man then reportedly went on the rampage, resulting in more deaths.
