World’s eye is on Libya

CONS-TR Building – Construction Fair & L.I.F. Libya Furniture, Home Textile, Hotel Equipment Fair were held between 27 – 30 June . . .[restrict]2012 at Tripoli Int’l Fairground in Libya with the participation of 15 countries over 150 exhibitors at 5000 sqm area by Pyramids Group Fair.

The show was officially opened by Indian Ambassodar – Mr. Anil Kumar Trigunayat and Turkish Ambassador – Mr. Ali Kemal Aydin who welcomed all exhibitors and wished them a successfull show.

General Manager of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Libya – Mr. Wahid Abdulla Jabu thanked all participants that were present. He mentioned that Libya is open for business with new era and invited businessmen from all around the world to Libya.

International Affairs Director of Relation & Cooperation of Tripoli Chamber of Commerce & Industry & Agriculture – Mr. Lotfi M. Ben Lagha noticed that after the revolution trade shows have become crucially important in order to meet the needs of virgin Libyan Market.

Chairman of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Mr. Saleh Mabrouk, Director of Chairman Office of Libyan Investment Authority – Ms. Belqiece M. Ghagha, Director of Tunisian Commecial Representation in Tripoli – Mr. Lotfi Chelly, Trade Commisioner of Flanders Investment & Trade Belgium – Mr. Kamel Abuturkia, ICE Director in Tripoli – Mr. Umberto Bonito, Commercial Attache of Arab Republic of Egypt – Abdallah Mohamed Hussein, Turkish Commercial Attaches in Tripoli – Mr. Yusuf Yildiz and Mr. Ibrahim Eris, were present at the opening ceremony.

Pyramids Group hosted over 100 important purchasers as the frame work of “Hosted Buyer Delegation Programme” with the support of Benghazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tripoli Chamber of Commerce & Industry & Agriculture during the fairs. B2B meetings were held by Pyramids Group with matchmaking the exporters & importers at Business Lounge, Tripoli Int’l Fairground.

After the Libyan Revolution, CONS-TR and L.I.F. events gathered a large number of people at Tripoli Int’l Fairground. The exhibitors were satisfied with visitor numbers and trade volume. The exhibitions were visited by almost 20.000 professionals and public.

Mohamed Hashem, head of the organizer company Pyramids, remarked “After seeing great interest in the events, we look forward to organising 2nd edition of Cons-tr on 4 – 7 December 2012 and L.I.F. on 10 – 13 June 2013. Moreover, we will be organizing CONS-TR and L.I.F. exhibitions in Benghazi between 25 – 28 March 2013” [/restrict]
