‘For us, Libya is not just a “friendly” country, but it is a “brotherly” country, and brothers must always be helped in hard times, such as those that the new Libya is experiencing at this time’, commented Umberto Bonito, Director of the Tripoli ICE office.

‘Italian companies are coming in large numbers offering to help, and, we are certain that Libya is happy to be helped by Italy. The revolution has cancelled the whole past but the friendship that has tied our two countries for a long time – even the revolution is not able to cancel that friendship!!’
