Ajdabiya, 21 April:
The Supreme Security Committee in Ajdabiya . . .[restrict]has held a graduation ceremony for some 1,200 new cadets.
The men, mostly former thuwar, who had applied to join the Interior Ministry forces, and been accepted, had undergone 45 days of training.
The ceremony included a parade by the new cadets as well as an air show. There were a number of speeches which welcomed the thuwar’s integration into the ministries of interior and defense, seeing it as major step in the country’s security and stabilitisation.
After the ceremony, the new graduates went out onto the city streets to celebrate and enjoy themselves. [/restrict]
