Staff at the offices of mobile company Al-Madar are going on a . . .[restrict]one-day strike tomorrow, Thursday, in protest at the company’s managing director and his office manager being beaten up today by eight armed men who had forced their way into the company’s headquarters.
A company official claimed they were demanding that Madar open a technical office in Zintan. He said that a row developed which led to the gunmen beating the director and the office manager and firing guns into the air.
Company staff plan to protest outside the Madar headquarters tomorrow demanding the government provides security.
