A protest outside the headquarters of the General Staff of the Armed Forces by a number . . .[restrict]of thuwar wounded during the revolution was ended peacefully on Friday, Libyan Army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Adel Alakari said yesterday.
The protestors had been demanding medical treatment abroad.
According to Alakari, there had been long discussions with the protestors and, after their demands and needs had been listened to, they had left. There had been no use of force and no blockade of the buildings in the Swani Road, he said. [/restrict]
